Galopina Casa Silvestre

Every so often, I come across a hotel on social media that instantly grabs my attention. A place that I save in my travel catalog with the hopes of visiting at some point. The moment for a stay at Galopina Casa Silvestre came from a visit to Merida in 2022. Located about an hour outside of Merida, Galopina is a cozy B&B in the heart of the Yucatan. Days spent here are meant to be lazy and completely disconnected from the world outside. A relaxing time spent by the pool or exploring the nearby cenotes. You can allow yourself to get comfortable in the living room while enjoying delicious snacks or spend your days resting in your room, letting the sound of nature be your musical playlist. One thing I will say is come prepare with bug spray if you are prone to getting bit. Other than that, enjoy your days of bliss!
